The double-action CZ 85 pistol is a modernized model of the CZ 75 and was introduced in 1985. The CZ 85 has an ambidextrous slide catch and safety catch. In addition, the hammer has an additional half cock safety. The slide catch ensures that after the last shot the slide remains in the last position. In addition, the standard model has a fixed rear sight. The sight can optionally be provided with a triple aspect tritium night sight. The pistol is only available in 9 mm Para caliber with a capacity of 16 cartridges. The CZ 85 has the same measurements as the CZ 75.
